Brava: CEFPF and Brava City Council reinforce partnerships in terms of opportunities and training for young people

Speaking to Inforpress, the director of CEFPF, Carlos Lopes, explained that this is his first official visit after starting his duties at the head of the Center, last March, stressing that since the beginning, he has been establishing contacts with the entities, particularly with the town halls of the Fogo and Brava region.

Asked about what innovations he has in his portfolio for Brava, this official announced that, this week, two courses will be opened on the island, stressing that one of them is PIN training - Plan and Start your Business and also the opening of a course of a Government program, which is the tourist and environmental valorization of rural villages.

About the PIN training, he said that it will last for two weeks and that at the end, the trainees will present their business ideas and the most viable projects and then kits will be awarded.

In addition to these kits, he informed that within the national program “Car Wash” some kits will also be delivered in the region.

Regarding the visit, he stressed that this was, above all, a visit to strengthen partnerships with the Brava City Council, which he considers one of the best CEFP partners in the Fogo e Brava region, taking the opportunity to announce the opening of some level courses in Brava , briefly.

On the other hand, it demonstrated total openness to the establishment of partnerships between these institutions.

For his part, Mário Soares, councilor responsible for the area of education, training and youth, emphasized that this is the first official visit and that it was already being awaited with great expectation, although he underlined that they were already in articulation.

He again reinforced the opening this week of the two formations announced by the director, also demonstrating total openness and support on the part of the municipality in the implementation of all CEFPF measures towards young people from Brave.

Likewise, he took the opportunity to inform that some new courses will be published later, in areas that have already been detected that need professionals, exemplifying with a course in repairing outboard motors, even if this course is yet to be restructured, as it will be opened with a small number of trainees, but with the expectation that, after training, they will also be able to enter the job market.
